SIT has been successful to fulfill its primary aim to serve the professional interests of its members by dissemination of scientific and other technical aspects of sugar refining at an Annual Technical Meeting that lodged hundreds of its members from across the globe.
It is also the best place to develop business relationships among its members and to cooperate with other engineering, technical and scientific societies. Attendees from CSI are, Mr. Emmanuel Sarir CEO & President of Carbo Solutions International and CarboUA International and Mr. Carlos Andres Donado Operations Director of Carbo Solutions International. The event ended with a visit to Mitsui Sugar Refinery in Osaka Japan.
The 2015 Carbo Solutions International took place from May 15 to 16 at the JW Marriott Hotel in Bangkok, attracting over 100 delegates across the globe. In close collaboration with Kasetsart University and Thailand Society of Sugar Society, the event was a great success. It is also such an honor to hear ideas from the keynote speaker Dr.Gillian Eggleston Lead Scientist of U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA).
The conference started with a full-day seminar on the sugar industry in Thailand, Indonesia, Pakistan and USA and ended with panel discussions. After the first day meeting, a dinner event sponsored by TN Metal Works, Thailand was held at Kabab Factory Restaurant in the Majestic Grande Hotel. On the second day, the delegates gathered again for a half-day seminar on various technology solutions for sugar mills and refineries and presentation on Carbo Solutions International profile. The seminar was also well received and attended. It ended with lunch sponsored by Technics Consultancy and Solutions from Pakistan. CarboUA offers a range of special adsorbents that serve the sugar refining industry. Because sugar refining is a series of high efficiency separations, it is clear that any adsorbent has to be high efficiency too. We have a choice of carbons and other specially designed adsorbents to best fit your needs. The result is that your high performance process is backed up by our high performance products.
Our products work in harmony with processes like phosphatation and carbonatation. Enhancements in carbonatation and phosphatation clarification have become so efficient, that it has reduced the load on the secondary process of de-colourization. The reduction in load has given rise to extremely low liquor colours thereby providing significant benefits to the refinery crystallization stations.
The benefits of using CarboUA adsorbents is shown below:
We supply the following products for sugar:
